The Bosnian Krajina, with the neighbouring areasof Lika, Kordun, Banija and Slavonia, represents the area that suffered the most during the genocide against the Serbs in the Independent State of Croatia. Although it has already been written about the crimes committed against Serbs in this area, we believe that the source material on this topic is far from investigated and that it is necessary to become familiar with its scope and content, as well as to assess its original value. The paper will analyze two collections kept in the Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These are the collections of the National Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Determining the Crimes of the Occupiers and Their Helpers and the Survey of the Alliance of the Association of the Fighters of the National-Freedom War from 1961. The part of the material from these two collections that relates to the Bosnian Krajina exceeds 200 archive boxes. Although these are secondary sources, researching crimes against the Serbs in this area during World War II is unthinkable without consulting this material.
