Abstract

After World War II, the Law on Agrarian Reform and Colonization was established, based on which internal and external colonization was carried out in Yugoslavia. It was planned for around 20,000 families from Bosnia and Herzegovina to be resettled in Vojvodina. The population of the  district of Jajce was resettled in 57 settlements across the territory of Vojvodina. The largest colonies of people from the area of Jajce were established in Obrovac and Banatski Despotovac, which will serve as the examples of the area of resettlement of this regional group in Vojvodina. This paper will discuss the process of the relocation of the population, their life in the colonies, and the problems they faced during the process of the colonization.
