The paper is about the Serbs from Bosnian Krajina – the volunteers of the Serbian army and the colonists who settled in the areas of Vojvodina after the Great War (1914-1918). The research goes towards micro-history, towards a man whose life was affected by the great historical upheavals of the First World War, post-war changes in states and borders, and who participated as a colonist in the colonization of the so-called “northern regions” (Banat, Bačka, Srem, Slavonia, Baranja) organized by the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The paper sheds fragmentary light on the lives of the volunteers and colonists from the vicinity of Drvar, Livno, Glamoc, Bosanska Krupa, Bosanski Petrovac who moved to the villages of Banat and Backa: Banatski Dusanovac, Sirig, Banatsko Novo Selo, Curug, Banatsko Karadordevo and Pavlis.
